Summary
The first eleven of this book's sixteen pages describe to the reader what it is like to undergo an operation. It answers many questions that may be common to children and explains the procedure on a young level. "Do you know what an operation is? An operation is a way for doctors to fix something inside your body. You may be wondering what it will be like to have an operation."

The next four pages are made up of activities for young people to complete while in the hospital or once they return home. Included are a dot-to-dot puzzle which shows how doctors sometimes wear masks.

The book's final page wraps up with a heartfelt message from Mister Rogers.
