On May 16, 2020, Pittsburgh-born singer Jackie Evancho was asked about the movie "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" during an Instagram live Q&A. Although she had not seen the movie, she did mention her love for the Neighborhood:

"I have not seen that movie yet -- 'It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighbohrood.' -- but when I was little, I LOVED Mister Rogers. So I've been really curious about watching that movie."
