Description
In 1976, as the United States was celebrating the bicentennial, cities across the country took pride in their own small contributions to the country's 200 years of existence. It can only be assumed that the ceramic stein seen here was part of the local Latrobe celebration.
With a sketch of Fred Rogers on the front, the text below reads "Mister Rogers" with "PUBLIC TELEVISION" underneath. On the back you see a logo representing the local Latrobe celebration. In smaller print, under the logo, the text reads "LATROBE, A BICENTENNIAL COMMUNITY." The ceramic stein measures 5.75" tall with a 3" radius at the top, and 4" radius at the base.
